that site has been OK for me numerous times... if that helps
digital one here but it'll prolly be $14 w/shipping. I have one that's been working for a couple of years now.

I bought two meters at HF today. $2.99 for the normal red one that they always sell (my HF gray one broke a week ago - damn, I should have bought 10 of those things) and $12.99 for a different one that I had not seen before. I wanted one with an audio beep for continuity and the $12.99 had it. They had a "larger" one for $10.99 with a temp sensor but it was just too big and bulky for what I needed. All three were digital.
FWIW, I thought my gray one that died just needed a new battery (an A23A 12 volt). I happened to be in Walgreens and looked to see if they had the batteries. They had a 1 pack for $3.99 and a 2 pack for ..... $3.99! I just thought that was kind of funny. BTW, they were the same brand battery - just a price mix up or something.

If you used that multimeter every week for 2 years then $3.99 for a repair is an incredible deal. Still didn't fix it though <G>. I'm thinking it is one of the switches so I'm going to have to crack it back open and take a closer look.
