Apparently if you use live.com to find something that's listed on ebay and use the "Buy it now" option and pay with Paypal, you get 30% off!

Make sure you type live.com in, don't just click a link. Then search for what it is you want and look for a ebay ad.

If you're buying a 360 off ebay be very careful if it is a used one. There was a recent Microsoft X360 Live ban wave of modded consolles and people started offloading those on ebay. If you get such console and it is tagged by Microsoft as a pirate instrument you won't be able to connect it to Live and update it.

Rotor, what I meant was the only way the 10% coupon works, is if ebay has recently sent you the code to use it. Some people might be able to punch it in and have it work, but only those that have a current offer from ebay. For me, it didn't work, only the 30% off works for everyone. In anycase thats fucking dope, 40% BIN items if it works for you.

I understand what you mean. Funny part is, I never got any email from eBay regarding it. I Googled it real quick and it working seems to be hit and miss for the people that didn't get the email either. It did seem to be pretty common that if your eBay email and your PayPal email address were the same that the code would work.
Definitely worth a shot though, saved me $23 instantly on top of the $71 I'll get later, I can't complain about that. But you can only use it once, so be sure it's worth it!

Yes, the coupon is one time affair only. Yesterday I used it once for 40% off and it worked then I tried a second time but it didn't accept it.

But today Ebay send me a second 10% off coupon. So I just used it to order a Nitrogen bottle for 40% off total. 10% off was instant and 5 minutes after I paid Microsoft did the 30% cash transaction back to my Paypal account. LOL so the total is $35 for a Nitrogen bottle to charge the shocks in my car. 40% off instanly FTW :bowrofl:

I've been racking my brain for the last 2 days because I knew there had to be something on eBay I could buy for my Miata at 30% off, and I finally figured it out.

I scored a Nardi Rally 350mm leather with red stitching (Hi Y8s!) for $240 -30% + $15 shipping = $183 and the Live Cashback posted to my account 8 minutes later, unlike the netbook cash that's going to take 60 days.

When I first did it months ago the discount would change depending on what lind of search you did. Not sure how it was figured but I was able to try some other searches and get 30% again.

i just used different keywords and noticed sometimes it would be 30% other times 20 or 25%. Given how much publicity it's gotten now I wouldnt be surprised if was not 30% anymore. I just tried a few things and they were all 20%.
