My buddy wants to turbo his 4 door 8gen (07) civic. Apperently theres a difference between the 4 door and the 2 door kits which i find questionable but anyways. Any recommendations on average kits there? Currently hes running hondata and an intake/exhaust. Hes looking for ~270-300whp. Hes not looking for anything fancy. Hell even a log mani will work for him.

The transmissions love to explode 2nd gear even at NA power levels. Thats why from the factory the drive-by-wire limits the maximum throttle in 1st gear to make the shift into 2nd softer.

I know Full-race makes a nice kit for the newer Civics and the RSX.

 

Full race stuff is indeed amazing. Equal length tubes and all. Hes not looking for something that fancy though.
