I get my coffee from "whats Brewing" here, I found them at the pearl brewery farmers market. Find someone local, and you will be set.

+1 on local. Here in Chicagoland it's Intelligentsia, among a dozen others.

I run a Rancillio Silvia with a Gaggia MDF grinder.
Good equipment and fresh beans. Buy half pounds and keep tasting until you find something that works for ya.
Cheers,
-JB

I have plenty of **** to go around, and I drink manly coffee.

(I work with these guys).

They like their coffee strong, so it is likely that my **** is able to satiate most of the prepubescent urgings for starbucks you fellas have, every time before 1400 I ****, I smell something better than starbucks, and it is a mixture of your mother's pant muffins, and sweet local home brew, filtered through a real man, which you hussies couldn't even begin to imagine. Trey, If you want a sample (of beans, not ****) PM or facebook me your addy, and I will mail you some.... bro.

go to your closest farmers market. they will have the locally roasted beenz.

I'm currently digesting a bag of Beanetics from Annandale, VA. I would show you more but their website is broked.

http://www.beanetics.com/

I'm pretty sure that's "beanetics" like genetics. Not like dianetics.

If you are a coffee aficionado, then you know that the most prized type of coffee is the peaberry. Trader Joes has Peaberry from different regions about twice a year and sells it for $7.00 a lb, a great bargain. For those times when it's not available they also have a fantastic Brazilian dark roast whole bean that has dark roast cocoa beans mixed in. It has a wonderful smooth flavor with very low acid.

A good coffee maker can make a huge difference as well. Technivorm Moccamaster. Thank me later. Get one, test it against your current machine, and it'll taste worlds better. Good coffee starts with good beans, but is best when made at the proper and consistent brewing temp. Everyone who's been a guest ask what coffee we serve, and I'll never go back to crap coffee makers. Had to buy one for the in-laws when we visit b/c couldn't drink the crap that came out of their old machine. Watch the video for both the testing and the reasoning. They don't just taste test, they figure out the why it tastes better.

Though i might only drink coffee once a week or so, i prefer the dunkin stuff. I drink coffee black too, so i feel my opinion has some validity to it. I also make it in a percolator, only way to go when the french press is not an option.
