Super nice looking car, though. Props to dad for taking it out and shooting it for you. Pics came out well.

Seriously, I was on the fence about the k1s but this sorta seals it. What color are those (can't tell if they're the white or the gray, thinking gray). Also, what size are those?

They're silver and 15x7

If it was a stock lip, I'd leave it black. But I like the look of the painted GV too much.

I dunno, the head-on and front end shot are in my parent's driveway, the 3/4 shots are somewhere I don't recognize. Downtown maybe?

Very nice, super clean.

Kotomile,
I'm with ya there.....R-lip = black
GV lip = looks better painted
These are all opinions of course.
Your car is tits anyways as it sits now. Good work. ;)

whoops, sorry I missed your question

Nah, but I've always had lowered cars so I'm pretty confident in my ability to avoid major hazards that might damage the lower half of the car. There are a few battle scars, like the dent in the PS rocker panel (might have to squint, I painted over it to lessen its visibility), the small crack in the lip (DS, 3-4" inboard of the left endtank) and various scrapes under the car. Florida is pretty friendly too it, Georgia was less so but still manageable. Lemme dig up a pic taken from my old driveway...

Looks real good! Whats your ride height? around 12.0"?

kotomile 08-22-2008 10:23 PM

Never measured it, GCs are 5/8" from bottomed, and it has FCM mounts. The pinchwelds are just below my Craftsman jack on the PS, I can just fit it under on the driver's side.

Your brave. If something that cost $200 was that close to the ground on my car I would be afraid to drive it. Then again the roads here are terrible. Sure looks good though, I want one.

my car is 12.5" in the front and my GV lip scrapes a bit on occasion if I'm not careful.. Always worried about it. The new ones are urethane now, so they are pretty durable and have some flex in them before they crack.

kotomile 08-23-2008 02:11 PM

I'm a little surprised no one has asked me why my car is higher on the DS than the PS, I guess this forum has enough experienced petrolheads that it's understood why.
