Daily driver died, need recommendations/warnings
If you do buy a used car, do yourself a favor and buy something from Tennessee or further south.
Dat Midwest rust? Fug that. Fug that right in the bhole.
Seriously, pay the $300 for a one way flight and buy something from TN, SC, NC, southern VA, northern GA, etc. etc.

Why are we talking about anything other than Toyotas, Hondas, and Mazdas? Seriously... a Tahoe? I think they set a record by being on Consumer Reports, Motor Trend, Readers Digest, and Huffington Post worst used vehicle ever to buy, right behind every Jag made in the last 30 years.

So, It looks like I can swing it... so talk me out of a new Fiesta ST...
Oh, and I test drove a Mazda2 today. I can see how I would be ok with it but the one I drove had some rust on some brackets under the hood and had no cruise control. Both were deal-breakers.

Brother has an electric Focus, nephew has a gas one and I just bought the wife a Fusion. Yes, I realize that these are completely different cars.
But I am generally impressed with Fords in general. If you can afford it, go for it.

I would prefer white but I like this one enough. $20k before taxes and tags.
I'm pulling the trigger.

I have a 2012 Honda Fit. My wife has a 2010 Prius. If I was buying again I would much rather have a prius than my fit.
Things I like about the fit:
1)very spacious, I put a washer inside, also bought a 8' garage door and it fit inside lol.
2)very easy to maintain.
3) good engine and nice transmission.
Things I don't like.
1) it has 55000 and the steering wheel is wearing out.
2) The door panel cracked at the armrest.
3) highway driving sucks, it revs way too high and has lots of wind noise.
4) the interior is cheap.. carpet is thin.
The prius is 100 times better!
My dad just bought a 6 speed 2009 Mazda 6 with 70000 miles for $9000. Awesome car! The manual ones sell cheap
