Can we not turn this into a 360 vs PS3 thing? God damn, it is always a contest. Just be glad you have a choice. Your happy with the one you bought let it be.
Loki, were any of your 60s refurb? If so what condition were they in? I'm still pretty sure I'm going to exchange for the 40. I honestly don't need any of the extra features. I haven't used any of the extra drives or USB's. The only extra feature I want is DualShock 3. |

I've hated Sony since my second PS2... Had five total then gave up and sold it on ebay. Their products are junk to me. |
I would not hesitate to get a refurbished unit. When the units are refurbished they are repaired/cleaned up from their previous nonworking state and then shipped out. They should not ship you a scratched up unit. However, they may say that it is in like new condition with some wear, but there will not be large scratches on it like you had to to deal with before. If they send you a messed up one...thats when you get angry and make them get you a brand new one.

the new-to-me 20GB is the first generation box.. hardly played but it's running a-ok?
blame it on the Chinese.. all PS3s are made in China... which reminds me, gotta go buy virtua tennis so i can w00p my gf.. |
Picked up virtua tennis for 20 bucks at gamestop when it was on sale.. fun game.. kind of tedious and very easy in certain modes though
