Default December is going to be FUN

Here is what I'll be doing after work for the rest of the month: http://urbansoot.net/teaser-load-bal...g-benchmarking

Barracuda load balancer will be here within 2 weeks. Want to talk to F5 and LoadBalancer.org to see if they will give me a unit to play with for a month.

Load balancing, multipath routing, redundancy...the poor sysadmin's quest for sanity in the workplace.

All the links in your wiki lead to nothing :(

So... the idea is an open source version of AWS? What is the plan for your eventual revenue stream? Competitive differentiators?

Not exactly open source. Most of the CLI management tools will be open source but we will also have a web frontend with REST APIs that will actually make it all useful. That will be a paid service but we are not going to rip people off like most other companies do. Our virtual machine hosting prices are extremely competitive and are considerably faster (network, CPU, and storage.)

Besides that we are building all kinds of automation tools that will allow people to scale their apps without having to do any major changes to their applications.
