Glad somebody said it. There are SO MANY STUPID THREADS on miata.net. It's unbelievable.

What's worse than that is all the people who either a)Think the miata is the best car ever made 2)talk about their miatas like they're children 3)sound like they are in some crazy miata cult.

I just washed my car. Why don't I...hmm I dunno MAKE A THREAD ABOUT IT!! I just changed my oil. Yep you got it, Im gonna make a thread about how much better it runs now.

 

I do it past 6Krpm for a long time but i can't shift any higher as i am in 5th most of the time there. That is the benefit of a turbo

 

Next thing you know they'll be starting a thread about putting a 1.5 inch rusted fake exhaust pipe out the back to make their car stealth.

Nah, can't say that I do. It's a nice enough looking car - obviously I bought one but some people take it to the extreme and end up sounding like brainwashed cult members.

 

yeah....People always tell me to get my rear bumper fixed or to put a body kit on it.....My usual response is..
"Its a miata man, no matter how kool I make it look Its still gonna be a miata.." ...So my miata sits with a burnt rear bumper....and all those M.netters that drive by in there stock miatas with style bars and leather wraped gloves give me dirty looks.......

 

^ some of my newly found biker peeps still call my Miata gay. and i really have to respect their response because.. it is a buncha guys on a vibrating V-twin... which kinda sucks... cuz i thought they'd be cooler than that...

back on point: i think the doucheness went overboard when the new forum software came online. not sure why this was but... seems to correlate.

 

i ask plenty of dumb questions (magnamx-5 has one in his in-box as i type this), but why would "punklove" care when other people shift? is he that parranoid about his technique?

 

I'm only in 6th for about 1 power stroke and then I'm at 6001rpm
