I got news for you. If you have something listed. You should have it on hand, or be able to get it fast. That back order crap diserves someone shoving a boot up some booty. REDNECK Style!
No-one cares about advertising cost. If it isn't availabe, you don't sell it.
I'm not going to post a Miata forsale that I don't have. Take the winners money and try to find one to give to the guy.

Well sorry sir. I thought I could of found one by now. Mabe next week. They are always forsale at walmart. One will come in soon. " I just know it". Click.
That is crappy business.

It is one thing if you can get it readly availabe. But not conning people.

Ok, on a side-note:
Is there any way to make a temporary downpipe out of the stock downpipe, or is it too short/small/shitty to work?

I really want to get this turbo in this weekend but the mandrel bend I'm missing is for the dp. I'm still really fucking pissed that I don't have it. Doesn't matter who's fault it is.

Seriously, attempting to sell something you don't have in possession is one step from fraud the way I see it...

Seconded. If you sell the one you have in the store to somebody, remove the item from the auction.

When you win a bid on ebay, you are required to buy that item, so if the seller says "oh, that's on backorder, it will be 6 weeks" you're left itemless for 6 weeks. If you go into a regular store and they say the same thing, you still have the option to search elsewhere. Two totally different things.

How? You can adjust the "delivery time" in the auction to show 10 business days, so you really don't have to have in stock to sell it.

We offer a full refund if they don't want to wait. It happens, and if you cancel the auction, you still paid for the listing, so why not just let it run till the end and just change the delivery time?
