y8s they have kits for putting sti/wrx engines in the vanagons... don't know how different the bus is, but they're in the same spot and same driveline type.

I grew up riding around in a '63 split window (split front seat) and was the recipient of a '71 in high school - complete with red white and blue curtains in the windows, and a bed in back. :naughty:
