this is my story:


Everyone does, that's not news.

Gianluigi Buffon is the Keeper for the Italian National team, and for Juventus. I quickly picked up the nickname when I started wearing an Italian Jersey during High Schools and club games. Im also a fan of the player.

Really no one, except family and co-workers, call me Jonathan. I usually go by Buffon. The #1 has always been my Jersey number

Wayne Curr was my stage name in a band I was in in highschool. I used it twice for forums and soon discovered that no matter where I use it, it hasn't been taken. Very convenient. Now i'm just stuck with it.

Actually, it's just my first initial and last name.

I didnt know how to spell 'brainiac' so i sounded it out...I've had this alter ego since 1995.

I've used the handle Flier back when I played diablo and sc/bw. Name stuck with me whenever I was on a comp. 129 is for highway 129..... the gap aka the dragon. One of my favorite places to be :)

When I was a ricer teenager who didn't even have a fast car I tried to shorten "leaving you behind" I failed. I used it as my email so I just stuck with it.

I was drinking a cup of cocoa while I needed to make a gamertag when xbox live first came out. I was thinking of the new weapons that would be in Halo 2 - the carbine rifle. Thus, Cococarbine. It was catchy and never taken so it just stuck with me. The 3 was added on here because for some reason it was taken. :dunno:

Because, any sterotypical "Oh, you're THAT guy" I've been at one point or another in my life.

And I was born in 85. Not very original. Oh well.

I used to use Wankelpowered7 waaaaaaaay back when I first started using forums...then I got rid of my RX-7 so the name had to go to. I then switched to DropTopDrifter sometime back in 02 because I had a 'vert and I was into drifting...and very few people had "drift/drifter/drifting" in their names because it wasn't something a lot of people knew about. Once I started getting tired of the stigma drifting was getting (aka dumbass kids with busted 240s and rusty Corollas) I ditched that and went to "Badger" for awhile...because Badgers fucking rule and they don't give a fuck...and I was enjoying being an online asshole to the n00bs.

Finally, I decided on my current name because it's fucking cool and because of my car....it's the Doppelganger of the MSM..the Miata that Mazda should have release 15 years ago. A lot of people think my car is a MSM, but it's not...it's the MSM's evil older brother (given it's titanium and turbo).

Nothing fancy. I don't want to use my name because it's stupid unique and I don't want everyone on the internet to know my last name, though most of my friends refer to me by my last name and not Mike/Michael.

Back when Hurricane Andrew hit south florida, I volunteered and helped out people by clearing out their yards of debris using a chainsaw. When all the chainsaws crapped out for some reason, I discovered I had a knack for fixing them.
Hence the nickname Leatherface. I was 12 at the time

The 24 is because thats all people called me all the time for a while so I made it my email addy when email first came on the scene. Its stuck ever since then.

I always thought it was because of some S&M fetish you had with your boyfriend...leglubbin'.

the 4 letters "fugr" came up in sequence, and i thought "that sounds good enough to me" 3 was my favorite number at the time, probably something to do with earnhardt

It's my name. Roger Leete. I've been on forums for 10 years or so, and usually use the same name. If you do a search, it'll come up thousands of times, but not all are me. Leete is a relatively common Dutch last name.

I had a Trans Am GTA a few years back and I was on another forum as "thirdgencompta". Which meant " third generation competition trans am, or ta is my initials. So thirdgen just sticks with me and forums. I was gonna use "heywood jablome" but it was too long.

My mom used to always say "YOUR GOING TO KILL YOURSELF", so to be funny I made this my first screen name, like everyone else, it just stuck.

miatacross = I am so creative, I picked this sn up with my first miata in 2006-2007 when I autocrossed...

Miata + Autocross = miatacross ( = I'm homo. )

I just brought home a custom built western-style leather holster I had made for my wheelgun when I needed a SN and it was fresh on my mind. Unfortunately it is often already taken on other sites. But I don't really frequent other forums. This was my first, it is where I spend my time, and I am loyal to a fault.

Now if I could just jumpstart my personal economy I could actually get a turbo in my car. I need more sales commissions.

ViperOrMiata. I like Vipers and Miatas. I cannot decide which I enjoy driving more. My nickname in high school was 8liter and pretty much the whole viper thing just stuck.


Personally I think it's getting old and is not nerdy enough. I want to change it to Gundam_Pilot. My M.net name is Hyggog.(I doubt any one here is going to get it)

No, my dad bought his first viper when I was in Middle School. I learned to drive on it. I was in love with the car and that's how my passion for cars started. I bought the miata from him when I was 16.

When I was 15 we started to do some basic work on the car. Eventually it made it's way to John Hennessy twice (600hp/620tq) and then ended up with a custom nitrous/propane and 118 octane injection setup(750whp/920wtq). It made a 10.2 @140 pass on radials(record at the time), cracked 3 windshields at Sebring. It's been all over the place and in a few magazines. Super fun car.

Then crazy father traded his procharged c5 for the '97 blue & white that I drive now.

Anyway, it's a long, long story. But not for this thead.
