That should be a nice hood. Erebuni should have put the vent 1" further forward so there wouldn't be any fitment issues with 1.8 car. I guess their test car was 1.6 and they didn't think it through.
You're going to need a radiator top plate, if you don't have one yet. Othewise, the extraction vents just further aid the airflow through the mouth and up the radiator support, so you'll actually get even less engine cooling. Ask me how I know :) |
He's got the BEGi one.

Luckily I picked up one of the BEGI ones a bit ago and he tossed in the "embossed looking" sticker. Never regretted it, but definitely will never be as shiny as it used to be :(

neat, looks like your plate fits well. the only 1.6 BEGi plate I've seen in person was a HORRIBLE fit, not even close. So I never ordered one from them.
|
The fit was fantastic.. the mounting hardware they provided was awful. I ultimately had to end up using self tapping screws to hold it down.

I don't have any good shots of my garage here at work, but here are a couple I found. They're not the best, but I think you get the picture.

I think Erebuni was the one, but some company was selling off all of their hoods because they were closing down. They were selling them dirt cheap. I called, but all the Miata ones were gone:td:
