Anyone see Toyota's nose change at China? I was speechless. Kind of like when the little Italian forklift in Cars change's Lightning McQueen's tires in 1 second.

did anyone else notice there wasn't any sound except from the announcers mic's? it ******' sucked! i had to watch it 3 times to get through it. i kept falling asleep. unless it was just my cable carrier, but i don't see how they would lose part of the audio at that point? my buddy said the same thing so it wasn't my tv or surround setup. i tried to email speed tv, but it had an anti-spam word you had to copy, and it kept saying i didn't type the word correctly but i did. sucks, i hope it's not like that again. i've gotta hear those engines!

oh yeah, besides the breathing and mouth sounds, at one point i could actually hear pencil to paper writing. someone was taking notes! seriously, wtf?

 

The Bahrain race? I had perfect audio, as usual. Sounds like your cable provider, I'd bitch about it.

New team? Don't fool yourself - the name is new but not the team.
Prior Brawn GP their name was Honda, before that the name was BAR (British American Racing), and before that their name was Tyrrell. And Tyrrell entered Formula 1 in 1968.
So, that team has 40+ year history - name changes but the team is not just a name.



Jackie Stewart had 3 world championships with them! And it is great that another Brit driver (Button) carries on his torch today.

 

i'm not new to f1. i know it was honda. but what did they do last year? nothing, and i guess i meant new as in brawn/virgin, although there are many new people and a new car. and yes i knew they were working on this car for the last 18 months where the other teams were focusing on the task at hand last year. i'm sure that's the next thing someone was going to say. did they even make a single point last year? i would still call it a new team. and it's still awesome how they came out swingin' this year.
