Default Fake Gauges

Before you flame this thread, hear me out...

I'm going to be installing a tablet in my dash but I'm not anxious to have some yahoo help themselves to it so I'm thinking about making a blanking panel to cover it when the car is parked. Easy enough but I'd like to make it somewhat convincing by "decorating" it with some fake gauges and lights and stuff.

Google has proven to be less than helpful, so I'm asking if anyone knows of a source for somthung like this.

IMHO if you have nothing there at all, it will be even LESS for people to want to take.

If you put some fake gauges in there stupid thieves will just want to take them. A nice black ABS plastic piece that clips right into place when the tablet is not in use sounds like your best bet for being theft proof.

ABS panel with Velcro.

Edit: I'm a freak when it comes to car safety. There was a time when I had to leave my car in Key West, on the side of a street, for 3 days. I took the MegaSquirt out of my car and took it with me.
