msm bilsteins + stiff front springs (450-550) + stiff rear springs (350-400) + ebay perches/whatever perches you like.

Add in an RB hollow in the front and you are good to go, use either stock 11mm, or 12mm, or the 14mm rear sways in the rear to taste.

go educate bitches.

I think practically any Bilstein based setup is better than Vmaxx, I don't know about the stock NA bilsteins though. And the best part yet is you can do it for just as cheap. a used set of Bilsteins/sports/HDs will seriously put a dent in the price (since the large chunk of it is the $400+ for bilsteins).

our MSM bilsteins are really that desirable? ---- I was gonna toss these and get some tein flex...

Im assuming those springs do not work without revalving these bitches though.

Talk to Bernie about a revalve.

I am running 550 lb front springs on the bilstein Sports and they do fine. the msm bilsteins have a bit more rebound and compression so they would take 550 better actually.

I would say mine can be a bit over sprung in some incidents. I am off the bumpstops for practically everything by the worst of bumps on the street. I have zero comfort issues driving, but as I say to everyone YMMV since we don't all find the same things comfortable.

And yes, you do not need a revalve for those rates, and yes bilsteins are baller. Other than the Konis, I think your best track/performance options are Xidas and Bilsteins (FCM, SD, or bilstein valving, or whatever you like really).

well ---- me in the ***. My bilsteins do have 100k miles on them now, bumpstops are probably about as wrecked as a veteran crack -----, but other than that Im game to try this setup out since every old timer Ive talked to cant stop harping about how awesome QA1 + koni + proper adjustment is.

yes, it seems me and hustler disagree on the spring rates for bilstein. You should do more research, but the generally accepted maximum rate for bilsteins is 500 I think. Atleast from reading old m.net threads thats the number people mention. I would like to see a koni shock dyno compared to the bilsteins, but thats more out of curiosity than anything.
