Default Flying Friends

So I went out to work on my project car from Az today and opened the door to a nice little surprise. A huge wasp, it so kindly darted right for my face. As I ran in side it chased me, I ran in one door and out the other with it following me. I had to run back by and grab the keys and kick the door shut. I saw it flying around the door and kept running. My phone is in side the car and the window is down and it looks like its going to rain. There must be a nest somewhere in the car. I think im going to go get a bug bomb(for the house) and run by and toss it into the car.

Don't do that. You're going to make yourself sick with that bug killer. There is probably not a nest in the car. Those things can squeeze through some very small spaces, so it probably came in during this weekends rains. Just a thought.

But i have been noticing them around the car alot lately, as in tthe past week or so. I think the is a nest, and thats why it was so aggressive. I was just jokeing about the bomb, that would be a little over kill.

LOL...my sister would do it in a heart beat.

Yeah, I've actually had one in my car before (my old daily driver). The best I could figure out is he squeezed through the rubber seal around the door (which was kinda old). I don't know about your car, but my miata has some obvious gaps between the soft top and windows. I'm sure it's cool. If you see another one in the car, then I would check under the dash.

Good luck.

The wasps are currently building a nest in Jordan's car (Loki047 on the forum). They're crawling in and out of the rubber grommet in the door that the speaker wires go through, so I'm guessing they're trying to make one inside the door.

I was driving my truck once in Denver with the window down, arm resting on the window. All of a sudden I got this ******* pain in my hand. I looked down and had hit a bee and the bastard was impaled stinger first in my hand. Wiped it off. Now at the time I was a serviceman for a telephone company and my next stop was at whatever it is you call what nuns live at (oh yeah a convent, pretty bad for a Catholic school graduate huh). Anyway alls I remember is saying to Sister Whojimucallit that I was there to fix the phone. I remember she askes if I was okay and the next thing I knew paramedics were giving me oxegyn. I had an allergic reaction. **** bees, wasps, spiders and snakes. Cats too. Im allergic to those bastards
