Haha yea I read that the other day. I would prolly put rocks in a few boxes if I worked at some random factory in China too.

reading comprehension:

Amazingly enough, however, Wal-Mart soon caved after learning that the same box of rocks had been previously returned by another disgruntled customer.

I don't think I'm wrong in thinking that...

Note they say the SAME BOX OF ROCKS.. as in a disgruntled customer had already returned it because there were rocks in it.

More comprehension:

"opened it and that's when he pulled it out and it was Chinese newspaper and a bunch of rocks"

Why would there be a Chinese newspaper in there if it wasn't done in China? That is kind of odd for someone to do that in the states. Just sayin. I could be wrong... but I understood it that way.

Regardless of whether the rocks were inserted in China pre-shipment or Wal-Mart after receiving it, the boneheads at Wal-Mart accepted the return of the "defective" item AND THEN PUT IT BACK ON THE SHELF TO SELL TO SOMEBODY ELSE. And then they decided to be dicks about the SECOND return. **** Wal-Mart. There's a reason that I don't go there.

Kudos to whoever got a free DSi, walmart needs to learn how to inspect their returns better.

Don't doubt it for a second. Wal-Mart caters to the bottom of society's barrel. That's another good reason for me to avoid the place.

But as long as you get a paycheck at the end of the week, do you really give a **** what people return? I wouldn't....only because if for whatever reason in frozen hell I worked for such a shithole the feeds the festering virus-like class of people that generally shop there... I would take pride in returning bad **** knowing the company is losing money

I hate myself whenever I go into a Wal Mart (which is very rare).

Surprised they didn't say the Rocks were some new form of Pokemon.

You can get Chinese newspapers in places like Chinatown or Chinese communities. Probably some Chinese kid bought the thing but didn't want to pay for it. Chinese people are crafty and cheap. I bet you anything that wal-mart is close to an Asian neighborhood.

i never cared what was returned. it never had any effect on me. but just the fact that the people who do the return dont check anything b4 giving back the money makes me wonder the intelegence of some people.

hey if they can't afford to pay you one cent more because people return that stuff, whose fault is that now?
