Default Gas price watch

Not sure how many of you have heard of or use this, but I just found out about it and wanted to share. I never drive around looking for the cheapest guy, never cared really about 10 or 20 cents. But **** me if its this easy, why not shop around. I now know at least where to not go for gas in my area. Some ******* are a full .50 more a gallon!

Here in CT for my zip code area the cheapest I found was $2.11 and the highest was $2.65.

If you guys use this post up your prices.

I edited out the BS I had once written here since I didn't know what in the hell I was talking about <G>..

I know the cheap places around me and plan my gas expenditures carefully. In addition, I use a credit card only for gas which gets 5% rebate on fill-ups.

My latest "spend $5,000 to save $300 on gas" project:
Sippy - 1993 Geo Metro Convertible

gasbuddy is updated daily in many locations. It depends on how active the reporters are.

I took a look at the site and I stand corrected! That site does indeed use "civilian" data and looks to be accurate. I had sworn off those sites in the past since they were using the gas card computer reporting and didn't think that they were going to ever start reporting true data.

FWIW, we don't look too shabby here in SC as far as the prices go. I feel sorry for some of you guys in other states/countries.
