the same exact thing can be said about a miata. they will never break the gay/girls car image. and there is not a thing wrong with good looking chrome wheels.

I'd rather be associated with this

than this

And the new GTR looks like dick...but R34's are sex

No kiddin', I'd take a blue R34 myself...

But honestly, dollar for dollar, as far as street cars go, NOTHING will ever match the overall performance of a corvette. Nothing. I mean, a car your grandma could drive every day, and step on the loud pedal at any time, accelerate up to triple digit speeds in seconds, hang around on the loop-de-loop highway exit ramp, then speed off into the hilly countryside, all with the A/C running.

Other cars can do all those things, but not nearly as well, as comfortably, and for the price.

I respect the Corvette as much as the next guy, but let's get one thing straight. The ZR1 is certainly not comfortable!

I'm no big US muscle fanboy, but I'd take the ZR1 over a R35 skyline in a heartbeat.

The new skyline is going the path of all of the other new crap cars, it's getting heavier, bigger, and more complicated, while the ZR1 is at least trying to be light.

Plus the new Skyline looks like ass most of the time.

GT-R time was 1:29 on dead standard suspension and Jap spec run flat tyres.

ZR1 is over US$30,000 more than a GT-R.

I question the credibility of that, since it says it was done april 2007.....
Seems like the 7:40 test results would have been pointless if this were true.

It did do a 7:29 in April 2008 though

Besides, they're not chromed, they're polished...there's a difference.

Myself, no. My dad, on the other hand, has been driving them since the prototype days.

ahahah

its the official press release,
the ring is a public track, there are so many people present to see it, theres really no point in lying about it.

that is a translated date, and google stuffed it up.

the 7:38 time was wet in parts.

ZR1! Only mod I would make is painting that damn clear cover in the hood. Only GM would put in a plastic window so you have a better view of the plastic engine cover. Can't see a single mechanical part through that opening!
