Geek trap
After Pitlab got beaten up for being a geek in the Spiderman thread. I started thinking there's probably an above average number of geeks here, whether we acknowledge it or not. My theory is that even though you know I'm trolling your "geek" opinion will override and you'll have to say something.

my ex girlfriend informed me that i suffer from IAD, internet addiction disorder, it's funny i don't see a problem with it as i barely ever watch any tv. So instead of wasting my time watching dumb **** on tv i'm reading and learning stuff on the net.

I've heard that as well. Spend a spring break without your computer, withdrawals are a bitch. Though you can work all kinds of things out. "Honey I'll lay off the computer for a week if you...." Have fun with that.

My dad spent a large portion of my childhood telling me video games are a waste of time. I spent 7 years working for Boeing programming flight sims for the USAF. Think my dad was right.

Cj, a Spitfire was the dominant British Fighter aircraft of WWII. The P51 Mustang was the main US fighter. I'm a P-47/P-38 guy myself... lots more soul w/those 2 planes.

Ok, I'm a big GT4 fan....never played Forza yet so I can't say which is better, but this is a decision maker whether or not I get the new PS3 or go for the 360. Sorry to hijack but any input on those who have played both?

I haven't spent enough time on a PS3 to say...I don't own either...but my friends have the 360..halo 3 makes it worth it 
...so does gears of war...

Campy > Dura Ace was a little obscure. They're high end components on road bikes. I love mountain biking but I train on a road bike sometimes. Can't stand roadies, though. Arrogant Lance wanna-be ******.

There's a difference between knowing geek-like things and then displaying, without shame, your incredible geek knowledge. It's the old "too much information" syndrome. We don't care what your nose bleeds are caused by, who your favorite Star Trek captain is or which version of infinitely-rereleased/remastered Lucas/Speilberg movies are best. Keep **** nobody cares about to yourself and people won't call you a geek.
