In most places this is legal as long as it is a sewer drain (toilet/sink) and not a storm drain. Reason being that the stuff that's bad for the environment will be dealt with at the treatment plant. Here we just dump anti-freeze in the toilet. I personally would hang on to gasoline, tubing is cheaper than a gallon of fuel.
