So I'm going down to Charlotte, NC on friday for a wedding on saturday. Basically I just want a recommendation for a good restaurant or bar or something to do on a friday night. Im 27 and the chick I'm going with is 26 if that helps. We're staying at the Sheriton at the airport. She rented a car so we can go where ever.

Any suggestions?

 

Ri Ra's Irish pub is right downtown. Its near a lot of other bars too so if you want to go bar hoppin its a good place to start. Great food too.

Buckhead Saloon is a good one too. Irish but more on the sports bar side. Its also right downtown too.

I hope the weather is as good then as it was this weekend. I just got back an hour ago and my god the weather was beautiful. Perfect temp, no humidity, no rain... PERFECT! I have no valid suggestions since the only places I went were private venue things. I did go to Amos' Southend for live music Friday (the main reason I went up to Charlotte) and had a great time. Pretty unique layout they have. I see they have a show Friday and Saturday. Might be worth checking out.
