Good deal on STRI gauges found.
As found on NABISCO...
STRI gauges.
About halfway down the first post, best prices I've seen on these anywhere... and the place selling them was starting to go the Vivid Motorsport route (i.e. big prices). I'm probably going to get the boost and EGT gauges, they seem to have the same quality connectors as the Omori gauges I was going to get.

can you see them during the day with the top down? I ordered greddy gauges from titan on 10/5, but they have not shipped, don't answer the phone, and don't answer email...so I'm going to call the credit card company about it tomorrow.

I imagine they're not much harder than any other smoke lensed gauge. If I'm not mistaken they also offer it in a non-smoked lense which would be much easier to see in daylight. You could also mount them with a lens hood, not sure if they come with one though. They look bright enough to see imo.

I'm still deciding on these or the Omori's. I have Megan Racing gauges with smoked lenses and while not difficult to see in daylight they're not the best visibility-wise and the EGT gauge took a **** on me.
I really like my Omori's on my WRX, but they're not a smoked lens. The install package on the Omori's are really nice quality, the newer gauges come with wingnuts on the back instead of having to use a dinky socket or pliers on teeny nuts and lockwashes. I liked that. Still, I haven't heard anything bad about STRI gauges and have heard some quality issues with ProSport.

well they couldn't answer my question in that thread, so I'm sticking with the greddy gauges I ordered.
I like how I asked a specific question about the gauge light shining through with the top down, and they respond with "you can see them."
