Gorillaz... and Encom?
I wonder if someone with a better knowledge of current pop culture trends could explain to me why Russel is wearing a hat with the ENCOM logo on it?
Has this forgotten 28 year old jewel experienced some bizarre resurgence in popularity to which I was not privy?

Kinda like the Misfits' crimson ghost logo? A couple years ago it started popping up everywhere, even on rappers' T-shirts, and you know those rhymefags don't listen to the Misfits...

Huh.
I remember there being a ruckus several years ago, complete with a full-size, functional Flynn's Arcade (with playable Space Paranoids, along with all the others) being constructed as a promotional stunt new some convention, but I thought that one turned out to be some stupid FPS game.
Had no idea that there were making another go of the film.

Wondering WTF is up with real-world Flynn (in some sort of Jobsian zen phase, apparently) apparently existing simultaneously with his avatar on the other side.
Sidebar: I believe that this is the first time that I've ever watched a trailer that had the obligatory web site at the end, and then actually gone to that site.

My guess is that it is a promotional thing. Like ACDC releasing an album called Iron Man 2 (or whatever it is). Everything is for sale now.
Was watching Pawn Stars the other day. Someone called one of the kids a fat *** and they had a challenge to see who was going to buy lunch from Subway (pointing out how healthy it was) for the rest of the week. Of course, I've seen Subway several times on their show because they are a sponsor. I guess I would probably ***** out everything if I had a TV show too...
