and i'm sorry to say it but any xbox or ps3 racing game you have sucks with a wheel, i have never played a game with a wheel i liked. rather play forza and GT with a controller

I've played a Driving Force GT wheel with Prologue and if you use the bumper view (just seeing the road ahead) then the wheel is waaaaay better than a controller. But using the in-car view (where you see the steering wheel) makes using the wheel kind of retarded because of the slight lag when turning the wheel.

I has my special edition reserved at the game stop. Win.i like that porsche wheel, that will be my next expenditure for gaming.

 

Just because it is reserved at Game Stop does not mean it is coming out on time. I used to work at a Game Stop and we would take reserves on games we did not have release dates for yet.

 

I have the collector's edition preordered from Amazon. I really do believe it's coming November 2nd. It's plastered all over everything, more than any previous date was. Japan has commercials for it now and everything. There's a demo at Best Buys across the country.

They'd be stupid not to release it in time for the holidays. It's as good as it's going to get. I don't even care if it's not perfect. I just need a sim racing fix and there's nothing for that on PS3. Prologue was trash. Not enough cars to my liking. I like not-so-expensive cars. Most of my time playing GT's was spent scouring the used car lots all the time. 90s imports are my cup of whatever.

 

Bought my PSP for GT Mobile. Came out like four years later. Still have no PS3 until the game REALLY comes out. I'm going to be behind everyone thats been playing the demo. Will rape online sooner than later. Regardless.

 

I thought I was alone with this. I play 10x better on games with a controller. It can be noisy with all of the analog stick tapping and button modulation, but I typically whoop ***. When GT5 comes out, we need to do some racing like some of us did with Forza 3. GT5 I can tell will be in my console for months after release.

Those who hate wheels, did you play with a car seat setup, or sitting with it atached to a table or even worse, your lap? Much different.

 

I lost interest in GT5 when it got delayed for like 5 years.

This game is the sole reason I purchased a PS3 instead of an X-Box two years ago and it's been delayed time and time again. With that being said, this will be awesome on my 73" DLP if it's ever released.
