Gta 4
I just went and put in my pre-order. Anyone else getting it?
At school we have been studying some of the models they use in the game. After looking at screen shots for a few days I can't wait to play it.

Better hurry, it comes out on the 29th. I normally don't go crazy for things, but COD4 is so boring now and I'm in love with the PS3's graphics. As long as the gameplay is the same as the old ones I don't think they can screw up. I have heard there are changes for the better control wise.
I'm picking up 4 DS controllers as soon as a game is out that can use them. I wish Super Smash bros would cross platform.

I hated that level. I seriously have no idea what the hell your supposed to do. You have to move twords the other end, and kill a bunch of guys until the next mission prompt comes up. Heres what I did.
1. Walk in the door, grab nearby cover fast.
2. Aim up and kill all the guys on the 2nd floor.
3. Move along the back wall all the way to the right corner.
4. Find the open door that leads to a small enclosed room. You can huddle here for a bit for health.
5. Staying along the right side, use the cubicles for cover. In the middle is a nice spot to hide. Shoot everyone you see.
6. Move up to the front corner into the room.
At this point there shouldn't be as many guys coming in. Once you get to the forward wall near a door it might trip to the next scene. This mission was the 2nd hardest for me because I had no idea what to do. Just keep moving twords the front of the room, eventually it stops.
Just wait till the end, it's this mission x 2, AND you have a time limit.

just get a wii, its not like both systems use the same style games so they don't even compete. super smash bros was made for the wii's controller so cross platforming it would lose some of the controllability and be awkward.
I hope it is like GTA3 (i think its 3) when your in Liberty city. Running around in the 80's wasn't that much fun and neither was being a thug

I played SSB with the gamecube controllers at a friends, it seemed just fine to me. Could easily be adapted to the PS3 controller. I will pick up a used Wii one day, not in a huge rush.
I agree on the past 2 GTA's. I hated the atmosphere in Vice city, the 80's sucked. Thuggin wasn't so bad, I just prefered the voiceless first character. The new character is named Niko, an imigrant coming into what is suppsed to be NY city. Damn I wanna play.

I am not a huge fan of the GTA series but I don't necissarily mind gun related games. I love the Half-Life series, and recently tried "Bioshock" which was lots of fun.
That, and real guns are fun too. Not competing at anything just yet - ammo is expensive - but eventually i'd like to try IDPA or USPSA style events.
Here are some videos from USPSA events...

8 days and counting. I haven't been excited by a game in so long. I actually want to play. We stopped talking about it in school, back to boring 3d studio max models. I wasn't even excited about the last 3, I just love the new gen stuff so much.
