HF box of three dozen 2" chip brushes for doing fiberglass work. Major win!

I'm kinda tempted by their 2hp 20gal one for 180 tho I dont think it flows enough to keep up with everything for a garage, it also has bad rating. This one, is the one. |
did you read the reviews? actually not bad at all.
and for the price, I can't think of anything that would be better. yeah the one you linked is better of course, but at 2x the cost. this would be for my garage, not the shop. at the shop we have a proper compressor lol. I think for impact/air gun, inflating tires, and your average dremmel or whatever this would be pretty sweet. Am I wrong? what did you mean by "everything? |
It only has 3 stars instead of 4.5. The small one flows 4.5 cfm @ 90psi, the larger one flow 5.7cfm. The larger one will actually be able to recover while you're painting or using the die grinder, where as the smaller one will barely be able to keep up with the tool and will never cycle off. I cant find the duty cycle for either one, but the larger one should be higher DC and the larger one has a way better motor. Checking and changing the oil on the bigger one also looks to be a lot easier.

Got sick of the weak cheapa$$ led work lights and picked up this up at newegg for $30. Have seen them on eBay for $40ish. Does not disappoint. Gives about 6 hours of continuous ON time and will run off the AC charger.

Why not look on craigslist for compressors? I bought a nice cambell hausfeld 60gal from an old man for $150. Harbor freight is great if you gotta buy new, but compressors are everywhere!

Harbor Freight Foldable Trailer... Best $300 I've spent in years! I use it ALL THE TIME!

Just don't leave it outside, or it will fade to pink in less than a year.

This FTW: Wet / Dry Turbo Diamond Blade for Masonry
That sucker cut through all the capstones to make my fire pit like there was nothing there at all. The regular masonry cutting discs would barely make it through two stones. |

Great ergonomics, and strong tips. Daily use in a shop? Yup, and they do great. Snap-on screw drivers have an ability for even a "too-large" tipped screw-driver to remove smaller fasteners. While the range of the HF isn't quite as high, it's still impressive. Everyone in the shop has a few now. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1383870624 32-1/4" Jumbo Pry Bar 4.5/5 High levels of win Finally, after 2 years of daily shop abuse, my co-worker Eric was able to bow the jumbo pry bar. Lifetime warranty, whatever, I'll exchange it. It's a beast, and the thinner body allows it to fit between things the Snap-on/Matco bars can't. |

Tool Cart, Five Drawer, 700 lbs. Capacity 4.5/5 Eric also bought himself one of these, on my recommendation. The first one we got back to the shop had a damaged lid, so I deducted 0.5. Technically, it's our fault, as you ALWAYS inspect/unpack harbor freight stuff. We exchanged it no problem. The same storage from the tool trucks, is $900-$1200. He paid $190 (on sale). Very solidly built. |

20 Amp Automotive Fuse Circuit Tester 4.5/5 Great for testing electrical systems where fuses are constantly blowing, or someone has monkeyed around with the wiring. You know exactly how much amperage you're seeing. I deducted 0.5 because it runs off a weird sized battery. Not so weird that walmart doesn't carry them, I just have to walk to the battery aisle, and can't get them at the display by the register. |

Mechanic's Stethoscope 5/5 (1 year update) Still winning on a regular basis. Co-workers may laugh, you kinda look like a douche. However; you can HEAR a wheel bearing through the hub, grinding away. Does your car sound like a jet taking off as you go faster? No more misdiagnosis because the sound echoed through the axles, with this you know. |

5/5. Just removed tiles from my concrete patio that were set in the concrete. I wish I bought this years ago.
