Hard Dog Decal on roll bar - Cool or Lame

My Hard Dog arrived yesterday and when I opened it I was a bit unhappy about the decal already on the bar. I'm not a fan of decals other than maybe under the hood.

I'm thinking about pulling it off, but as it sits in my dining room, the look is growin on me.

I hate stickers as well, but I still have mine on there. I am too lazy to remove it.

Are they paying you for advertising space?

Fireindc 08-27-2009 07:55 PM

Who wants a sticker that says "hard dog" on their car. Not to mention its flaming.

kotomile 08-27-2009 07:57 PM

Voted lame, I covered mine with an SCCA sticker.

I like that idea - or - Grass Roots Motorsports, if they had a small sticker

Lame vote. I put my Boss Frog sticker on my roll bar when I got it, but didn't like it afterwards. Its now covered with padding and a vinyl cover.

Peeled mine off.

Unfortunately the bastards at Hard Dog put it on before shipping. They put it on the diagonal where padding won't cover it. I'll probably just pull it off, although I like the SCCA idea.

I have no issue with a sticker for those that want it, it just pisses me off when the manufacturer/dealer does it. I always insist the car dealer leave off their dealership tag.

RotorNutFD3S 08-27-2009 08:31 PM

Peeled mine off the diagonal and replaced it with a MiataTurbo.net sticker.

gospeed81 08-27-2009 08:37 PM

even my cool miataturbo.net sticker is under the hood.

stickers tell neighborhood kids whose car to break into.

miataspeed2005 08-27-2009 08:50 PM

LAME as well I hate stickers and badges as well

l_bader 08-27-2009 10:16 PM

...in that Tom and crew at Bethania Garage are sponsors for my racing endeavors, I have ZERO problem keeping their sticker displayed...

lame, pulled mine off asap. kinda lame it comes like that.

y8s 08-28-2009 09:44 AM

I vote generally "who cares" but I took mine off because I dont like to advertise.

Vashthestampede 08-28-2009 07:55 PM

Lame. The flame didn't do much for me so I took it off.

I rock the mt.net sticker on the rollbar, and I have a no fat chicks sticker on the passenger side triangle window, but that's it. Stickers under the hood are tacky too.

jeff_man 08-28-2009 11:43 PM

I left mine on and added more, i have stickers for companies i don't have parts from, i even have a sti, vtec, and gtr sticker. my shit is JDM yo.

UrbanSoot 08-29-2009 12:03 AM

im only going to have 3 stickers/decals on my car that give "props" to companies that helped me build my car. and those will be VERY subtle (light gray on white car)

Stein 08-29-2009 12:26 AM

Lame. I don't even wear t-shirts that have printing on them, even if they are free.

I guess I'm just weird then...I hate stickers on cars...but will rock a free t-shirt anyday....usually on Saturday when I'm cutting the grass or Sunday wrenching on the Miata.
