That electronic boost gauge would be worth it for the pressure sensor alone.
They look pretty nice if you are into conventional gauges.

i'm not into anything flashy, especially on this car. It was a budget car to begin with, so as long as they are reliable and serve their purpose, I'm happy.

To me round gauges are as flashy as it gets and usually command a lot of negative attention from cops and snot nosed kids. A pair tucked in the vents in a Miata aren't too bad but I'll take a small screen in the factory radio spot.

I'm actually planning to use them in the center consoles vents. The reason I'm going with these is the blackout feature, which cops won't notice the gauges.

really good bargain price for the gauges

but (and maybe I'm biased) they're about a vowel away from being another brand.

Those look alot like the Megan Racing gauges. I was thinking about using them, but daytime visibility was poor.. Wonder if its bad with these too.

All black outs are, You need this little visor that goes above them.

I like the digital AFR gauge. Hook it up to an LC-1 and have a very nice and inexpensive setup.

so their digital afr gauge would work correctly with an LC1? Sorry, I know its a noob question, but I put the LC1 in the shed 3 months ago and am planning on installing it very soon along with a gauge. That would look nice in the vent next to my boost gauge.

I've got the Prosport mechanical boost gauge. It's coming out. The lens reflects everything. Especially my shirt! I have it in the triple gauge pod above the radio. The hood does nothing for stopping the reflection.

I'm willing to bet that those are fiberglass with a layer of carbon on each side to fool ricers into think'n it's all carbon. If you've ever lifted the stock hood you'd realize that you probably arn't going to lose weight with an aftermarket hood unless it's flimsy as hell.

This is very true. You might drop a pound or so with real carbon fiber honeycomb hood.

I'm gonna steal this image from a guy at Subaruforester.com. You can see the glare and this is in a car with a roof and the gauges mounted higher than mine above my radio. I have the angled pod so it reflects directly back at me. Like a friggin mirror.
