My yearly hunting trip to Concho County starts tomorrow. I should hit San Angelo at 1450, and be at the ranch by 1600 depending on how long we spend getting tags and ammo. Just enough time to sight in a few new toys my buddies have and be ready (at least for the short range) in the morning. Pics of carnage will be posted.

Anyways, I'VE GOT A 5 HOUR LAYOVER IN DALLAS. I could actually get a car and drive to the Ranch in less than that time, but 3 of us are flying into San Angelo together, so I'm gonna wait. What's the best place to hang out in the airport... any by "hang out", I mean get drunk.

 

To bad your not flying in today (or on a weekday) i work 5 minutes from dfw airport and hustler is 5 more minutes up the road.

 

I can see the airport from my apartment. You should have swung by and helped me finish the wiring.

 

Which terminal? Unfortunately, there's no passage between terminals at DFW without leaving the sterile area, and I doubt you can get through security at a terminal for which you don't have a boarding pass (though it's a toss-up as to how alert the TSA agents are.)

Terminal D is my favorite (it is aesthetically pleasing) and they have a Bennigan's there. Mmmmm. Monte Cristo.

There is an elevated train that takes you between terminals at DFW without requiring you to leave security.
