Actually, that's exactly what I did this year, bought her a ticket to go to hawaii with me. She's never been having lived in TN her whole life. She'll also get to meet my family for the first time. 25 days in Kona is a hard xmas present to beat when 20 and in college.

The wife and I were together 10 yrs before marriage- she got the itch to hitch. But I was thinking why fix it if it ain't broken. ;) Marriage really didn't change a thing. We bought a house 5 yrs before marriage. Then waited 9 yrs after marriage to have kids. I'm definitely from the school of "try things out" before getting married.
