Default Help with turbo backplate

My CHRA was returned to me without a backplate and I don't know wtf I'm doing.
Notice something missing?

Yep, the compressor backplate is gone.

I found this, but if you notice on the right side of the page it wants me to specify which TO4 I have. I called ATP and they told me to figure out which turbo I have, and I don't know what that means outside of owning a GT2860rs.

Other than the backplate and the circlip, what else do I need to fit this to my compressor? It looks like there is an o-ring I need to. I have never jacked with this **** before, so please explain it to me like you would explain it to the barnyard animal of your choice.

I also had to hit the turbine housing with a torch and freeze the CHRA to get them installed, this CHRA fits ultra-tight in there so I can't disassemble it now.

"MADE IN MEXICO" - well, there's your problem.
Also you should just be able to give them a CHRA part # and they can figure it out. Although it appears the part number on the box (706451-5005S) matches a GT35R CHRA

Wait you sent it in to Tial with all the parts and got it back missing parts? I would be on the phone Monday with [email protected] to get you the rest of your turbo.

You're a customer, they didn't send you all your parts back. Call them.

Anyone familiar with these parts at all? I am not going back to TiAL, I do not have time for to figure out who is right and who is wrong, I need my god damned car to run. I paid $300 to run at Hallett and I'm not going to miss it because "I was right!!!"

Compressor Housing Backplate adapter ring : atpturbo.com

TO4B

This is the one I bought for my 2860RS. You need the gigantic retaining ring as well. The o-ring only fit on in one logical way, because there was a slight groove where the o-ring seats. i could never find proper documentation on how to do his, but it seems to be working.

You need to call them up and ask WTF. That's not a cheap part. Then you add in the $18 for shipping iirc.

TiAL is sending me goodies and hopefully a shirt so that I may pose in my turbo shirt, next to my turbo parts.

I'm scared that when you torched and froze those parts, that when they came together and got to the same temp they were not aligned properly.

You should have scraped some of that ceramic coating off the inside of the turbine housing mate surface.

I predict another hustler fail. Either thru turbine wheel to turbine housing grindage or cause his CHRA isn't clocked right and the drain line is too difficult for him to install or doesn't drain properly and he can't clock it.
