Here is my street toy, just off the dyno.

Its a Ford A4 349 Stroker, Eagle 5.315" rods, Ross Custom pistons, Novi 2000, Victor 5.0, AFR 205, 80lb/hr, Aeromotive sumped tank & A-1000 fuel system, Probe SMR, Custom Cam, LS1 coils, PA K-member, Tremec TKO, Mac Long tubes and cat back, Turbo Coupe rear disks out back Lincoln brakes up front. With an AEM standalone.
Still needs some street tuning because it kept spinning tires on the dyno. And my tiny 1 5/8 primaries on the headers put up a wall at 6800rpm. Going to go Turbo some day so I don't plan on addressing the short cummings of the exhaust system. Cant wait for it to stop raining so I can drive it on the street! Wu tang hypercolor mustang ain't nothing to fuck wit
I don't know jack about domestic engine builds. How much did the motor cost you in parts? |
Nothing like a supercharged 5.0 as a daily. Two thumbs up.
|
NIIIICCEEE torque curve.
I remember Mystic paint...that was the shit back in the day. |
why is this not in your miatas engine bay? :giggle:

Cost....a lot. I have owned the car since 93 and painted it in 99 when the color was "in" cost a fortune and its staying that color. |
Looks like a nice toy BUT how about take a day away from the build and clean your garage <G>...
|
That's a great paint job. Looks like 20 coats of clear.
|
IMO that paint is perfect for that vintage Mustang. I want some vids when the sun comes out. :bigtu:
|
My street toy would break the dyno and makes 800 torques. Mainly it would break it because it weighs 7500lbs, but whatever.
I have always had a thing for those cars and this one seems really well thought out. Kudos. |

I remembered the mustang days. Nothing like a car standing on the bumper, and the track 'disappearing'. It takes a while to get use to. Crowd digs it though.
|
Nothing like a foxbody 5.0, nice Job!!!
Only car I hit a 100mph sitting still in haha |

Stomped on that zr1! Nice fox man, i can dig it even with the groovy paint.
|
Lol, almost makes me miss my 2 Fox Mustangs. I had a primer black 1985 GT that years later would have been called "murdered out." Wasn't by design though, it was because cheap. 5.0 and a big ass Holley carburetor was really fun.
|
I love that paint
|
Would DD.
I've always had a soft spot for fox bodies. Reminds me of the good ol days in Richmond. |
