how about a SUPER budget turborific setup for the heep?
anyone have any ideas?
I'm almost wondering if the downpipe flange isn't the same as a WRX up pipe and I could do a real dirty STS knockoff setup.. Just need the oil pump.
BTW it's an 89 4.0 cherokee, 5lbs of boost would just about normalize it and that's all I'd be looking to run

5 psi get a chinacharger t3/4 that 4L should have no trouble spooling it. Those carbed jeeps are hell on gas though aren't they you might go MPFI as well. Or did they start that earlier than i thought? Besides you have a good amount of room in the engine bay, a sump turbo setup would be pretty trick though alot less welding etc.
I do about 20/22 mixed now, I think boost would improve it as I'm working that motor to DEATH.
