when does the shitting stop. I can't take it anymore. I'm sorry for anything bad I've ever done in my life.
I didn't really look, I was just impressed with the industrial motor (with nameplate!) on there. I can check on sunday if you are interested in it.

Amazon is hands down the best company I have ever dealt with. They are not perfect, which is why I've had to contact them to resolve a few issues over the years. The most recent one:
I bought my Kenwood subs from two different "sellers" on Amazon. They both were eligible for prime. I got my first one yesterday and it was perfect. I got the second one today and it was clearly used. It was of course advertised as new, so I was a bit shocked. The wires had been cut, and poorly crimped, and the wires were a bit dirty from the previous installation. The mounting screws had the black paint scrapped off where it was screwed in, and the part that makes contact with the screw driver was a bit ate up.
Now I'm no detective, but it was clear someone installed this, then returned it.
So I go to my computer and open up an amazon help chat window, no wait time. I tell them what happened and they offered a replacement and free return shipping, and free one day shipping.
I need to install this thing today. So they offered 20% off what I paid, plus they made a note on my account saying that I got a used item, in case I have to return it for being defective, or it fails any time soon.
This is pretty amazing service. A big company like that can either screw over customers, or help them out. Both ways probably only have a little impact on their business, but helping customers out takes a bit more work. I would have continued to purchase items from Amazon either way. Still they made it right, and I'm happy. That doesn't seem to happen too often anymore.
Okay I'm done rambling.

As someone that sells on amazon, i admit they are great. They do make their sellers jump through hoops though. One big problem with amazon is that when you send something prime you put amazons personnel in charge and after that the seller is out of the loop. Often enough the buyer needs something like a cable but because amazon doesnt bother telling us, the customer returns the entire item.

I'm a bit confused.
One of our products is ipads. When pluging and unplugging them, too often people grab them by the cable and end up ripping it. They contact amazon telling them we sold them a defective item when in fact the item is new and was working.. they just damaged it. Either way we still try to make it right but because of the amazon fulfilment program we're out of the loop so the amazon staff just tells them to return the item for a full refund.

Ebay also just switched their policies now to screw sellers a lot more. They made it so if a customer contacts a seller for "item not as described" or "item not received" they automatically open a case.. open cases count against the seller as a defect rate.
We sell a lot of server memory as well whcih do not work on desktops.. most people get them for desktops so we get tons of cases for item not as described because the people didnt read any of the description and the memory doesnt work in their systems.
My coe worker called ebay earlier.. The ebay rep told him "its a buyers world. If you dont like it take your business elsewhere."
The only reason why they are making it this way is so sellers cant be right.. if sellers cant be right they dont get top rated seller... aka no discount on ebay fees.

Fuuuuuuk. Ebay was hacked a while back, so I changed my password. Forgot to change the one for my email, which was the same. Account has been locked, account suspended.
An agonizing death to all hackers.
Edit:
Just got off the phone with TW. Turns out it wasn't hacked, but a billing screw up on their end. I've had the account on auto-pay for years, and somehow the CC number got entered incorrectly a couple of months ago. So, the card was rejected (naturally) twice. We haven't even switched anything, so someone either messed around with something, or they were updating files. Nothing changed on my end. Then, with no warning, they slapped a $25 no pay fee on, and locked the account. No email, no phone call, nothing. How did they expect me to know the AUTO-pay wasn't working?
Took the tech 20 minutes to get the lock lifted, and I had to pay by check because they won't accept a different card if one has been rejected. How moronic. She was very nice about it, and took off the no-pay fee as well.
Back up and running. I have to call in a new card number later this week, but the tech said she'd call me.
