Thanks, everyone ROFL's about the plate. It is used accordingly along with some random track days. Oh, and you'd be amazed at what fits in the hatch.

(This is my actual car BTW)

Hey - who is this? My car truely feels like a hooker after the amount of rides it's given.

Just a cute 390 whp / 330 wtq (I'd have to find the dyno graph with the exact numbers) - will be going more this winter. Not sure where everyone lives around here, but it will be on the dyno at York Automotive @ 10am on 12/3.

Vortech V2-SQ SI-Trim (The new, good one). RMS mouting hardware and RMS aftercooler. 42# injectors, BBTB, Stratmosphere recirc, 6" Crank and 3.125" pulley, and more custom made parts than I can think of. Full exhaust (and I mean full CUSTOM exhaust). Pushes ~12 psi at redline.

Here's a good picture of said exhaust:

I was riding in it, and the owner pulls over and says, "So you're pretty good at driving stick?" I was kinda shocked and mumbled something about being about average, as he gets out and tells me to drive it. I was shocked by how smooth all the power comes on. I am in love with that thing haha
Because the M Coupe uses a rear trailing arm setup, it is 100% necessary to have smooth power delivery. The M Coupe is a ridiculously capable car, however it will let you know very abruptly when you do something wrong.

Yes sir. I actually ran the NCCBMWCCA's program for 4-years. I've put in my time and have since retired. (Not positive the new "leadership" is up for the task, so we will see how next year goes).

That red M Coupe is a really nice looking car. I always did like the M Coupes and never understood why people thought they were ugly. It is a bad-*** hot hatch with rear wheel drive.
They are sorta ugly, kinda like girls at a club. You know that you'll probably regret it someday, but right now, it's fun :P

"The BMW M coupe makes you do bad things. Oh, your descent into deviance starts innocently enough—you blip the throttle at stop lights just to feel the body shiver slightly under the engine's power. Then maybe you try the occasional faster-than-necessary freeway pass. Soon enough, though, you're clocking 110 mph at the end of every on-ramp, doing smoky burnouts in front of the Dairy Queen and donuts in the church parking lot."
C&D (Dec. 2001)

"If the Corvette is a rebellious child of the extended automotive family, the M coupe is the blackest of sheep. It is the punk kid out behind the garage smoking cigarettes while holding a skin magazine in one hand and throwing rocks through windows with the other, all the while teaching the neighborhood children the more colorful portions of Anglo-Saxon."
C&D (Dec 2001)

You know, it's pretty hilarious when one of those (or a honda) tries to race (mad respect to COOL honda owners however). You let them win the first two stoplights, proceed to rolling down the windows and mentioning that you've been babying it by launching in 3rd, wait patiently for the green, tree them up, and let them choke on a huge cloud of tire smoke from roasting off 295's leaving the light. Typically they pull off on some back road at that time because they are too embarrassed to drive next to you again.

It's actually a heat exchanger as it is water-to-air - MUCH more efficient for S/C's.

Mine does not, but WI is coming soon. I'm running low boost (6 psi) and 93 oct so an IC is not strictly necessary.
Let talk sometime as the current aftercooler setup might just be for sale soon.

Okay, three more things, and I'm done. Thanks for all the fans BTW - I'm a strong believer that all cars should be named, and thus, her name is "Mindy".

1.) If your car can't do this, then it's clearly not making an appropriate amount of torque:

2.) If you ever see me around, stop and say hi. I'm always willing to chat with fellow gearheads - here's a glamor shot so you know what I look like:

3.) And finally, a wallpaper for all my fans ...

Full size here - http://www.smugmug.com/photos/689362837_Dg7G3-X3.jpg

Let me know if you have any questions, want more pictures, or simply want me to leave ... have a good day.

LOL! On a different note this morning...
Neighbor's friend runs over our planted sage bush and smashed pot everywhere = FAIL!
Ring neighbor's doorbell with 9yr. old daughter by my side; Lights go out = FAIL
Neighbor waking up to driveway full debris, potting soil, and sage bush from said owner = WIN!

What is really funny is that we just had a MiataTurbo.net dyno day at York Automotive on 11/13. It was a good a good day with some nice cars.

Too Late. You now have octane booster. And as soon as the season starts I'll be out with you and Mark. The goal is to see how many cones you can hit right? haha just kidding. About halfway through next season I should have enough money to do my suspension stuff.

Search "roll off" and you'll find plenty of info on the setup.

We've had a couple of our form trucks setup like that so we could drop the containers at the job site and move on.

They've been around for years, although I don't know if I've ever seen a car hauler setup like that one.

Bad clutch master cylinder cap o-ring = dark fluid? I goddamn hate flushing and bleeding any vehicle hydraulic system!!! It's the only thing I can figure. The o-ring is crushed flat on one side, and surely not doing it's job, but can that much moisture get into the fluid over a 9-12 month period? Enough to cause issues? I'd rather it be this than another damn master or slave.

So I guess Four Lokos are getting the ban around here. I hear that they'll be on sale for $1.25 or something. I don't even care.

Buy all of them that you can and then resell them to local college kids for like $5 a can.
