How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
Just got my schedule for the week all set. Work from home today, then the next 3 days at the detail shop, then possibly going to look at some antique furniture on friday.
The guy with the furniture doesn't have a computer and is what you'd call "off the grid" and he's ready to start selling some stuff. I'm really, really hoping it turns out to be a gold mine. Just that fact that he's putting $20k-$30k price tags on furniture has me excited to see it.
Same guy I'm selling the old vw bug for. Same guy that has a mint rolls royce on a lift in one of his garages. lol

I don't know why, but seeing clean, well-maintained examples of old econoboxes pleases me more than seeing some $150k luxury boat or sports car.
A guy just drove through the parking lot in what looked like a 1990ish Mazda Protege. It was black and the body and paint looked perfect. Engine sounded good, it was a 5 speed, and it was all I could do not to flag him down and ask him how much he wanted for it.
Looked like this, except cleaner and with stock wheels.

Just passed yet another CA emissions test with numbers near the bottom of the scale. How the hell is it that my car keeps getting classed as a "high emitter profile" and directed to a Gold Shield / Test Only station every single time?
22 Years, 214,000 miles, and counting.

Now THAT sucks! The first sign (for me) of our new corporate overlords changing things. I understand needing ads to support a business and was fine with the amount here, but road blocks are ridiculous. Time to become a supporting member!

Got real excited about this:

Then I got a reply back and found out the car spent most of its life in NY and VT and has rust.
Then I found this and have been trying to restrain myself from inquiring. Those 4EAT transmissions in the SVX are death.

lol, i worked in a family owned and operated restaurant, the owners where some of the biggest idiots/ ******** i have ever meet. moving straw at my buddys farm was better than working there. anyway the manager at the advance i work it is cool as hell, and i already know everyone who works there. and also going from like 7.40 an hour to 8.10 plus a commission system. the only down side is the idiots who frequent the place, but the same applied at the restaurant as well. oh and the building has ac where the restaurant didn't, summer there sucked horribly.
