In my youth when I could have kitties, we used a smaller supersoaker on our one wonderful badass cat when it would get into hidden food. You could stay on the couch and reach into the kitchen with a light stream of harmless water. Worked perfectly.
That cat was the only kitten I got with no planning (all the rest were rescues like the rest of the animals), saw it at a random garage sale. Mom actually let me take it home. Such a badass cat but it got run over. Dad had to use a shovel to clean it up. Not a good day. |

I brought home miata #6 last night. A 94 with no rust that I have seen so far, AC/PS, cruise control, leather, power windows and mirrors, and I think a nardi steering wheel. I think the timing is off and belts squeal, other then that it runs and drives fine. For $1150 I think I got a good dead.

So LSD right? Damn. Killer deal.

Some guy (Anthony, presumably) listed several cars on my local Craigslist today. This not particularly noteworthy, other than the fact that the title for each listing simply says:
"Anthony" I don't know why he thought he was required to put his first name and nothing else in the title for the listing, but I find it amusing. Anthony Anthony Anthony Anthony |

I think I am just trying to compensate for all the mods who no longer have turbo miata's. |

Hey, at least most of us own a Miata of some kind again. I can remember when half of us didn't, and I had no car at all. :D

A friend of mine called me about a BRG for $1700, but I haven't seen pics. Supposedly pretty clean, but not put all back together right now. Apparently it was assembled from two cars. I love BRG, but hate tan leather.

After watching all the traffic stops videos i'm getting closer and closer to wanting to install a dash cam however from memory recently Illinois passed some laws that make it illegal or something. I've tried searching but reading the laws is a pain in the ass. Any help? Can i use the dash cam on a police stop?
|
I'm pretty sure that if you informed an officer that you were recording it, then it would be ok. Of course, he may tell you to turn it off and then beat your ass just the same. :slap:
|
It would be better to get charged with a misdemeanor for recording a pig, than no record of when he beats your ass or does something else illegal. Evidence is leverage.
|
Don't quote me, be I think it is still illegal to record in illinois, although the law has been contested since they instated it. Ive been tempted to install a dash cam, but for that reason, I have not. Braineack would say that that fear is what they want...

Read few laws that it was made legal in 2013 but who the fuck knows. Our state government is so fucked up they probably changed it 17 times by now based on how much money they can steal from the people.

I am also not a fan of tan interiors. 4 out of 6 Miata's have tan interiors. It just happens to be what all the cheap ones I find come with. I think I am seriously going to start looking for a 93LE interior to swap into this new 94. If it had that and a new paint job it would look pretty good.
Almost any one who is active on mt.net can borrow my 92 if they are in town. Yeah, I'll buy one with it if I find a killer deal, but I'm in no rush. Focusing on parts for now. |

http://www.dmlp.org/legal-guide/illinois-recording-law so long as it's one-party in a place with no expectation of privacy, record away. |
