Yeahhh, that's the one. I screwed that up... I was thinking that Yahoos ownership in Alibaba represents a good chunk of the current list value of Yahoo. Derp!

Knowing little about the market, the FJ80 appeals most to me.

Aw man that sucks. So its just me again, the only guy in the world simultaneously turboing a 1.6 tata and doing a v8 s10.

QFT again for good measure

If it makes you feel less alone, I have a v8 swapped ranger.

Who else's wife found about your own Ashley Madison account?

EO2K Aug 21, 2015 02:48 PM

Did they do the plain text password dump yet? That's the part I really want.

This.

No wifey here, but the hack itself I find pretty amusing.

I know a guy who used that service to some success. He was divorced at the time so there's no one else to find out.

Multiple sclerosis, lupus, AND cancer... What are the odds?

It's never lupus.

Joe Perez Aug 21, 2015 06:57 PM

No, it's definitely lupus. :(

(And yes, I get the House reference.)

Unfortunately, probably higher than one would think at first. Autoimmune diseases tend to cluster, and the inflammation that they cause can trigger cancer. That plus treatments for the former tend to be immune-suppressive, which reduces the ability to fight tumors.

Sucks. :(

 What's the context here Joe? Was this a diagnosis that you received?

Huh? No, I don't do cancer. Too complicated.

I'm coming up on the 20th HS reunion, which means everyone is crawling out of the woodwork on social media. Who is still thin and attractive, who has five kids, who has utterly failed at life, who has died, etc... Some girl who was in my class and who used to hit on me on a regular basis has been having seriously shit luck over the past decade or so. MS, Lupus, a recent cancer diagnosis, and she just found out that she's infertile as well (not that isn't probably a good thing at this point.)

Just seems like a remarkable combination of gut-punches. She's actually a very nice person. Not especially easy on the eyes, but a decent human.

Well, that's a relief!
All the same, sorry to hear about your classmate.
