Isn't it the megasquirt clone?

They were one of the few with a rototest in the states too. I wonder how many dynos they have.

I do believe Brain has called it a "shitty ms2 knockoff"

No, it is 100% independently made. Not sure if they stole code of hardware designs from MS though.

I think they only have 1, but I have not been out to visit them before so I am going off secondhand knowledge.

Basically. I have not heard a ton of positive reviews. Getting a FM221 is on my to buy list one day, but I have a ton of other projects first.

Visiting their website pics for a short while, I see an old dynojet above ground, rototest, and recent pics have a dual roller in ground.

FM had a dynojet until 2005 or so. They liked the rototest a lot, but it failed a couple years ago and parts were no longer available, so it became a bunch of expensive junk. They have a dynocom now, I think.

My car has been on their dynojet and dynocom.

It's an old article too, published in '01. Just check out those stock seats and 4 point harnesses....

I'm more impressed by the fact that he did that in, 01? when there was like, nothing good available for miata's at all.

I bet he could have run the car with no oil in the crankcase too . . . for a while.

His ecu situation is even more odd, anyone else see a lack of CAS? Yes it probably won't last long but the tuner must have been pretty good, I'm sure this was long before knew the limits of a stock block

I did the same thing to my '92 with the MS1, using a DIY wheel and a spacer that I lathed in my garage:

Going this route forces you to run batch injection, but that's really no concern at all for a drag car.

I find this early attempt at a coolant reroute to be quite interesting. Never considered doing it that way. Not going to have much in the way of circulation when cold, but it solves the problem of the mixing manifold while still preserving thermostat function.

"Chelsea waited anxiously for the turn card, knowing that the life of her cat rode on the outcome of this turn.
And for the first time, she genuinely regretted her decision to follow Hector's advice.
Silently, she swore that, if she made it out of this room with her pussy intact, things would be different."

"Joe performed numerous lathing operations, including facing, boring and thread-cutting, to produce a crankwheel spacer on his lathe.
Turning was not necessary, as the outer surface of the billet from which he was working was already true and of the correct diameter."

Just because the English language is annoying doesn't mean that I have to be.

Could someone point me in the right direction for this replacement or part number? I'm looking all up and down rock auto.

It's the solenoid valve that connects to the map sensor, the infamous bog valve.

Nevermind.

BP5W18741 -- EGR Solenoid

BP4Y18741 -- Vac/Boost Solenoid (correct one)
