So the ******** up in Tn. decided to give me a ticket when we were up at The Dragon last month. In all honesty i wasn't speeding, but anyone who knows the area also knows that the cops like to pull citations out of their asses because they are cops and can do it.

So to make a long story short, i called to find out how much my fine was, $227. But, they told me that if i take a defensive driving class, they will drop the fine down to $104.50 and judge the case as "dismissed" so it wont show up on my driving record. Fun. I still ssay that i'm going to wipe the DD certificate up and down my *** in hopes that I give someone there pink eye or pass on some e-coli

But what does this all mean? What will be the worst part? I have to watch this.......again.

If it were anywhere else but the gap, I would say **** you, you were speeding deal with it.

Since it was the gap, **** you, you were probably speeding, but yes, the cops are ******** Sounds lke you are handling it right, it is always worth fighting/negotiating a ticket.

I got a ticket this week, the day after I took my turbo off!

 

i just got one too on a sunday cruise with the wife, 48 in a 25 in a town i've never been to before. The speed limit was 40, then changed to 25 at the bottom of a long hill and the cop was sitting in someones driveway. managed to get the cop to only write me up for a 30 in 25 so i wouldn't get any points, still $118 ticket though

 

where do you live where speeding is no points? in jersey even 1-9mph is a 2point ticket. 10-14 is too. only difference is the amount of the fine
