My friend has this 2017 focus rs making 390hp with an exhaust and a tune. Now obviously miata's should smoke that. Ford is all wheel drive and weighs 1600 kg (3527 pounds)

What does my miata need to win??

You need to run at least 18psi of boost to beat a blue ford. Red ones are faster though, so watch out.

OP, don't let these others troll you.
It's all about the gear ratios. If you're drag racing, you want to start with the highest numerical gear for the fastest acceleration.
In a miata, it's actually reverse!
It's going to look and feel weird at first, but I promise you, you'll accelerate faster and smoke him off the line.​​​​​
