Hey, you guys just solved Joe Perez' dilemma. He doesn't need a new car, he needs scars yo!

 

Just an update on my progress...

1) I'm still alive.

2) I'm out of the wheelchair.

Got released to bear weight on both of my legs again with assistance from a walker. Feels good to be able to 'walk' around again even if it is with assistance and much slower than normal. Also start out-patient physical therapy on Wednesday. All of my x-rays looked good with bone starting to grow back at the fracture sites and all of the hardware installed into my femurs was still in place. Go back in 6 weeks. Here's hoping my progress keeps going at this accelerated rate as I am currently 1.5 months ahead of my initial predicted schedule.
