The "post count requirement" rule is the most effective tool in vBulletin to ensure your INBOX doesn't get jammed/crammed full of links to DICKS and ***** and ***** and JOHNSONS and LOGS and MANDINGOS and other long hard phallus resembling sites.
When you eliminate the rule, super-***-BOTS can run rampant... and we have enough of those who come straight from the Honda forums that we don't need to help them out.

Just leery. Your original posts suggested that you had no interest in getting to know or getting along with the other forum members, and that you were really only here for "shopping".
If that is not the case, you'll find that it's actually quite a fun forum with much more real world information that the other big Miata sites.
You just have to get past the "initiation".
Where are you in Austin? I was born in Houston, and lived in Round Rock from 1980-2001.

The Miata is my preferred DD. I have another toy... Check out my 1989 Dodge Dakota 4x4 factory convertible. I was young and dumb when I bought this one (original owner) and beat the **** out of her. This one is a refurb project that I work on with my teen children. Guess what they prefer to drive?

I'm going to be in Austin on Sat 4/12, may stay overnight and bring the Kia Optima 2.0 ltr turbo to C&C, probably won't have the Miata back by then

Discovery Channel will be here and so the turnout may double. Just look for a running camera... be in the background and wave... then relive the moment when it goes to broadcast. (this post really should've been merged in the events section... but BS has been entertaining... hope I didn't cut my own **** off here yet.)

2, I have a teenage son who WILL throw a big party if I go out of town and stay overnight. If I'm out of town, I'll miss his party!
3, Bummed that Carlos & Charlies closed... used to drive my boat right up to it. Neatest thing to do on the lake
