Default I want one so bad! (motorcycle thread)

Wow, have you ever heard a dirtbike sound so sexy? 70hp doesn't hurt either.

For me to have one would be like giving a ferrari to a 16 year old, but damn, I'd be willing to look like a poseur.

I'll take one of each.

The first bike I ride ever rode was a YZ80. It was also the first bike I ever dumped. It was not the last bike I ever rode (owned) and unfortuneately, not the last bike I ever dumped.

The last time though was a GSX-R1100 of the 405/5 in Irvine where they meet doing about 85~90 MPH. What a lovely night in the ER and ICU. :(

I used to hate riding with the aprilla guys. I'd have to keep stopping and waiting for them.

so? it has tons more usable power than the jap fours. plus style, sound and track ability the japs can't touch. it might be a little slower from 130-190mph, but on the track, it's usually faster.

hell, it won "masterbike" in 2006. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masterbike

i think it's funny how the miata guys who are mostly after cheap hp and gunning for the high dollar cars flock towards exotic bikes like aprilias, ducatis, and mv agustas(my fav btw). but i'm sticking with my 929 with 138 whp and excellent manners i've embarrased more than a couple italians, imho it's a perfect bike, it's 7 years old and i still love it

I like my SuperHawk with slip-ons, it sounds like the ******* world is ending within 100ft. It's not as fast as some of (well probably all of them) the late model 600cc rockets but it's a fun bike.

Same with my VF1000, certainly not as quick as the new GSXR600 with small sprocket and all the mods, but will waste the 600 through the mid range and has the legs to reach past 150 MPH.

Still a bad *** bike after 23 years.
