If i had 60K$ in a miata
I would hope i could do better than this.

Thoughs?
BTW no way is a set of 4 385 cc/min injectors hitting 300 whp without a fpr.

We know with 440-460 cc injectors @ 50psi you can easily hit 250whp with some room to spare. 300 crank would be right around 275whp. It might be possible with 385's, but likely on the ragged edge of things.
By my math at 100% DC the 385's (rated at 45 psi) are finished by 338 chp given 60 psi actual pressure, given a bsfc of .5 wich i highly doubt. The numbers don't lie i just feel that for me that would be to much on the edge why not run some 460's, he has a emu for christs sake.
So...they added every bolt-on imaginable, retail cost, no custom stuff? seems like one hell of a boring way to spend 62,000. I guess this is the reason you shouldnt build up a car bit by bit with no design goals - sounds like a show car, yawn.
most likely NOTHING was retail cost, because nobody in their right mind would spend 62,000 on a miata. and elise with 10,000 in modifications sounds like a better idea to me.

Well, figure around $25k for the original purchase price... plus if you're paying somebody $100hr for labor and paying MSRP for all the parts, I could see where some retard with unlimited funds could spend $35k on upgrades... wait, no I couldn't.
Plus, the thing is hideously ugly. That's by far one of the worst colors I've ever seen on any car. The spoiler looks way out of place and is too big... and even after all that work there's no hard-top?
What I really like is the eBay style bar... that's a nice choice.

$62k doesn't get you a built motor...? Was expecting to see a 2.0, fancy valvetrane, Hydra/TecIII/MoTec, Wilwoods, extra wheels with tires... and just generally more than a bunch of chrome pieces stuck on with double sided tape.
I'm wondering if the original purchase price isn't included in the figure... What was MSRP, close to $30?

actually I think those are Westach gauges, which are pretty nice. Aircraft quality. I think TDR sells them, and if I recall correctly charges a fortune for them "pre wired".

yeah that's like 20,000 in labor.
what do those guys charge, 150 an hour? more?
This car has been worked on by: Eibach Springs, Brainstorm Products, Jackson Racing(JR), Gary Shuhart of Track Dog Racing(TDR), JM Motorsports with tons of high end Miata parts and upgrades.
well both of my gauges are westach, and i think they are great gauges for the most part, but the illumination is sub-par imo, as it is under rather than backlit and has hotspots
In order to stop all this extra speed producing power, the brakes have been upgraded nicely with Power Slot performance rotors from Power Performance group, Inc. and stainless steel lines.
L ******* OL what a classic line
