Nothin better than a hole in the floor when your stomach's cramping from bad sushi and too much saki!

I like how it's "coated". Sounds a lot better than "rattle canned". Nothing better than an intercooler made to hold in the heat.

JDM name... o brother... i think they stole the name from Nishimoto.. an importer of fine Asian (Japanese) foods since 1912.

if you look at the majority of somen/ramen/wasabi powder sold in this country, there's a good chance it'll have the Nishimoto brand on the package somewhere...

<BS>Those other ebay intercoolers are actually cheap Chinese imitations of these top quality "Made in Japan" Mishimoto intercoolers. You can always tell a genuine Mishimoto by the beautiful thermactive coating which produces a 25% improvement in overall cooling efficiency compared to an uncoated intercooler.

The Chinese company was able to copy the overall shape of the genuine Mishimoto IC, but since they can not manufacture paint that does not contain lead they have been unable to copy the thermactive coating, this results in an inferior product.</BS>

<BS>The thermactive coating was originally discovered by one Mishimoto Kintaro who was then preparing his doctoral thesis at Tokyo University. At the time Mishimoto San was only trying to develop a coating to insulate tea kettles, as he perceived a great deal of consumer demand for such a product. He was attempting to use nanomachines (originally intended to prevent the rejection of cybernetic implants) to prevent the movement of heat through the organic liquid metal (OLM) substrate on which the coating was based.

He was originally dismayed when he discovered that the nanobots had the reverse effect, that is until a friend asked if he could use some on his car. This was the birth of Mishimoto Intercoolers.</BS>
