If I recall the story he was trying to turbo the car as cheap as possible... so he flipped the stock exhaust manifold over and welded a flange to it.

Wow I've never seen that. Great idea IMHO. Funny as hell, probably worked well.

I'm not sure why he didn't just run the downpipe out and over the fender.

 

If you couldn't see that intercooler, I would have never guessed it was turbo.

 

 

should of just the downpipe out. maybe give him some thrust form the turbine propeller lol

And from the looks of it.....DS tire would get to threshold temp very quickly and become greasy too fast. But it is obvious it is not a road course car as you wouldn't be able to see the apexes in it.

 

He has since revised it with new technology in mind...DEI-T!!!
