From: Chicago. (The less-murder part.)
I've been down with the flu this past week. Horrible, nasty stuff. For reasons that I am only now starting to question, over the past three days I have watched the entirety of Futurama, including the unofficial seventy-third episode and all four movies, in order, pausing only to eat, sleep, and emit waste products of varying consistency from pretty much every available orifice.
That is all.
That is all.
Poor Joe..
That sucks man, Sorry to hear that. Makes you feel any better I'm stuck at my office desk right now with literally nothing to do until midnight. . . . . .

I was like WTH, did you mean intransigent?
Looked it up and found it was a Futurama word. heh.
intragnizent
from futurama. a meaningless word used in a context so obvious that it gives away its definition
"as the duly-elected mobsters of this union, it's our duty to support the struggle of these proud, lazy slobs."
"yeah, but what if management remains intragnizent?"
"from the context it is clear what you mean."

Futurama sucks, but sorry to hear you're sick.
Most every newer animated comedy series I have seen tries to hard to be funny, in the process making it suck ***. Family Guy pisses me off beyond belief.

I Hate futurama, to each his own though. Last time I was that sick I watched every season of Viva La Bam with the audio commentary turned on. I even went as far as watching the deleted scenes, where Bam pretty much counts the amount of times Don Vito's 3rd chin jiggles, and they pay Rake Yohn $3 to jump into a freezing cold moat. So now you can take out your loser stick, Joe, and beat me with it pretty hard.
I don't think lack of humor is because a lack of culture. Its people who don't need jokes on a 4th grade level rammed down their throated and spelled out to them. I like my humor a bit less retarded and more subtle.
That is my point. There is a lot more to Family Guy than the jokes that everyone gets.

Right now, if I were to get sick (flu or something lame), then I would be taken down to the 4th deck (the deck at the waterline) and placed in a small room with 3-high bunks with all the other sickos. We call this "quarantine". You're in there as long as it takes you to get better. You start playing games like "How long can I wait to let this fart out before it's past it's prime"... and hope the other guy holds out just a bit too long for retaliation and his doesn't smell as bad as yours.

Yeah, Seth McFarlane is a comical genius...
